i was wondering if any DIY had ever considered looking at USPTO patents in designing things


would anyone happen to have the patent numbers for Stax Omega II, Sennheiser Orpheus HE90 or Sony R10's?

i'd love to look at these out of curiosity

You can't be sure there are any patents regarding these products, and if there are, they'll most likely only be about some part of the design like diaphragm shape/coating or a specially optimized shape of the earcup.

Just hop on over to http://www.uspto.gov and use their search facility. For instance, just typing in Sennheiser brings up 81 patents.
