Hi all,

last friday (18th Feb) I ordered the new MS-2s from Allessandro. Didn't expect them to arrive anytime soon with what I have read here and the fact that I'am in London, UK. But they came today, but my dad sent the delivery man back! :O I don't know whether to laugh or cry! The person asked for £25 duty & tax fees, my dad thought it was some kind of scam or something as he knew nothing about me expecting a package!

Now the problem is, since delivery was included with the $299 price tag, I have no idea what delivery method allessandro used or which company nor did I receive any tracking numbers or any kind of contact from allessandro other then the automatic email reciept when I ordered. The delivery guy didn't leave any kind of receipt or anything. My dad mentioned "Global express..." now could that be it?

I need to find my MS-2s before they leave the UK back to USA. Anyone from UK who had dealings with Allessandro know what shipping method they use?

The only name that comes into mind is the USPS Global service, but I could find any contact numbers for UK offices?

what can I do?

thanks.

When we send overseas Global Express from the states, we do it though our regular postal system. USPS = United States Postal Service. I would assume you need to call your local normal mail post office, tell them the situation and you can probably go down and pick it up once the carrier gets back to the station... good luck!

Try Fedex too. I'm not sure but I think I got either the MS1 or MS2 in a fedex box. Maybe he was using just the box and send it with USPS. Don't know that for sure.

And I advise you call alessandro and ask. But also call your local post office and call fedex after that if you weren't lucky with the post office.

Good luck!

When I got my MS-1s, the UK end was handled by the Royal Mail. However, since there was the duty to pay, they never attempt to actually deliver them, they post a card saying they are at the sorting office where you can pay the fees and pick them up. This is because the posties aren't supposed to be carying around any cash. Makes snes from a security point of view I guess.

Try calling your local sorting office, they might be there waiting for you. (edit - just saw Xanadu777 suggested the same thing

Hope that helps

Thanks for the replies guys.

I managed to get through to someone at allesandro, didn't quite catch the name but the person was nice and helpfull. They sent it using USPS so he gave me a tracking number. After some calls to USPS I found out that Royal Mail have it here in the UK at their central office.

Havn't got time to pick it up from them so arranged them to be delivered on Monday

This time I'am letting everyone know in the house to expect a package.

Can't wait to see how they compare with my HD-650
