Dear Jace:

Please accept our sincere apologies for our HDD100 Recording Audio Jukebox Beta-Test
email, which was sent out at 4:30AM, Thursday, May 29th 2003, Pacific Standard Time.
Unfortunately, the said email contained an error within the email subject, and wrongly
congratulated you as a beta-tester for the Philips HDD100 Recording Audio Jukebox.

The said email's body text notification remains correct and final in informing you that unfortunately
this time your name was not selected in our random lucky draw. We very much apologize for this
incident and any confusion it may have caused you.

We thank you very much for applying to be a beta-tester for Philips HDD100 Recording Audio
Jukebox although you were not selected. We would like to assure you that there will be more
beta-test opportunities in the near future, and that you will be one of the first people to be
informed of the event.

Again, thank you very much for your great support and best wishes from your friends at Philips!

Kind regards,
Philips Audio Club

i sent a complaint letter the day i got the email and demanded an apology..... i don't know how many others followed suit

i can't stand a company making such a huge mistake like that.... just completely screwing with the fans' heads

Yeah, don't congratulate/reward them too much. Their automatic form letter merge screwed up and they tried to recover. That's all. Let us know how many "near future beta tests" there are, and if you get moved to the top of the list.

i clicked the little box saying don't bother me w/future offers. I'd like to say that i'd never buy a philips product ever again, but with great things like the 963SA floating around.... i'd just be lying.
