I am trying to come up with a pair of headphones to ask for for Christmas.
I will mainly be listening to EDM, Rap, and Rock.
They NEED to meet this criteria:
  1. They need to be very comfortable.
  2. They need to have crisp sound quality.
  3. They need to be just bassy enough (I want to hear those mids and highs, too.)
  4. They need to be under $100.
  5. They need to come with a carrying bag or case.
  6. They need to sound good with EDM, Rock, and Rap.

THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!

Quite a strict list there.

I got nothin. If it weren't for the case I'd say try to get a vintage KOSS Pro/4AAA, but obviously that wont work for Christmas and they're fairly heavy.

I would say the Shure 440's but they only thing they are missing is the comfort.  They start hurting your head after about an hour.  Some people might argue they are light on bass, but I think they do a good enough job.  Here they are! http://www.amazon.com/Shure-SRH440-Professional-Studio-Headphones/dp/B002DP1FTU

I've heard real good things about the aurvana lives, and they get pretty cheap on Amazon. from what I hear they have great non overpowering bass. though honestly op if u can save and squeeze the v MODA m80 would be excellent for you. 150 on Amazon and they do EVERYTHING well but ESPECIALLY rap and edm because of their nice extended bass and overall clarity. you wouldn't have to buy another pair of cans for a looong time....
