Hello all I am going to buy a new amplifier to replace my Ibasso T1 since I am pursuing higher quality of sound. I am finding one which I can bring outside and use with my computer.

Recently I have been checking through the webs to find a proper one. I have found HEADPHONIA Portable Mini Amp PRO US and Meier Audio Porta Corda III. They both have good performance according to several reviews in head-fi. Thus, they can both work as DAC by usb plug-in. By this point, I have a question: can they both produce good sound quality not only on headphones but also on my speakers? (I am using Harman Kardon Soundsticks II) If they do, then I can sell out my Creative Xmod as I think its functionality is not as good as I expected.

Can anyone answer my question and give me some advices of which to buy, to improve the performance of the rigs I use? Thanks a lot!!!!

I have been able to listen to both of this amps and sound wise I would choose the Porta Corda. Now in order for you to use the output of the dac with the speakers it would a bit tricky in that you would be using the headphone out of the Porta Corda as an input to a Preamp or Receiver. Thus the headphone out would be required to act as a line level and you have to be careful not to exceed the Preamp or Receiver allowable input in mV.

What you really need is a line out and neither of these have it.
