So I haven't been around the audiophile community for long, around a year and a half. I currently have the Hifiman RE-262 with the Fiio E6 running from my PC at work for all my listening. I have THOROUGHLY enjoyed analytical sound, great isolation, and definition that the 262's offer.

Now I have upgrade fever, and am wanting suggestions for a good headphone. I am looking to spend around 300-350 USD. I was really thinking of sticking with an IEM but would love to hear about full-sized phones that you may think alot about. My listening preferences...not a basshead, into detail, analytic sound, listen to everything- rock, pop, bluegrass, rap, EDM.

Just looking for some suggestions, also if you think I may need a better amp to power your suggestion.

You could look at the Fostex T50RPs, they are not bass heavy but could be modified to add more bass and because they are an ortho headphone they will have the detail you are after.  You can get them for$130 on amazon which would leave you with enough money for an amp which they really need and would sound great with a tube amp.  If you want an IEM you could look at the Ultimate Ears triple fi but a new company called cosmic ears sell custom molded IEMs that would fit you price range and you can get them with a variety of driver configurations, there is a thread about them that offers a lot of detail and reviews of some of the pairs they offer.  My vote would before the custom IEMs as they offer the best sound isolation and you wouldn't have to worry about fit or isolation as they are made specifically for you but will take longer to get due to the process of making them specifically for you.  I can't comment on the amps to much as I don't have a lot of experience with them but if you are using a pc perhaps you could look into the Fiio E17 as that is a DAC and AMP combo and is portable.
