upgrading from hifiman 400i

Hello,
i sell my old hifiman 400i..his treble kill me...search for any recommendation (until 500$)

i use rega ear amplifier + maverick d2 plus dacc (should i upgrede the dac also?)
listen to rock, musical instruments and vocal man,

I am confused about the link. Are you only looking at headphones on those pages? Or are you considering all headphones?
Not for sure what is going on but have encountered that link three times today and it goes to Walmart and car amps. Might have to alert Axel of this.

its big upgrade from 400i ?

Evolutionary step up from HE400i. That said, I think the problem is your amp. When I had the Rega Ear V2 it had a tendency to be fatiguing partly due to its +26dB gain. When I ran basic tests on it turned out I was encountering fatigue partly because the left channel was actually playing slightly louder.

My vote goes to the HiFiMan Sundara. One of the most transparent and revealing headphones for under $1,000, more laid back treble than the HE-400i while also sounding more realistic in comparison, basically much better in every way without giving up bass like a dynamic headphone does.

I'd look into getting a used LCD 2 or LCD 2C like someone else said, their used prices are really good and are solid headphones
