Hi,

I've got some birthday money , and was wondering if it's worth upgrading to a samsung dap (t9 or z5 ) ... SQ being my main reason ( ok battery and capacity too) ... My current DAP's are the Creative Zen v+ / Rio carbon and Ipod 1st gen shuffle... the carbon is the best, but is falling apart ( taped together ATM)

The differences between these players are not big , mostly tonal. I compared them using my kramer ksc75 and px100's . The sound is a little thin for my liking. But I don't want an amp. I've some Philips hp460's coming ( similar to akg k81) wich will probably be my main portable cans in the future.

Hope someone can help me

If you're considering the T9, also look into the Sony A81x or S61x. I just got a A818 and I love it. Not sure what, if any, advantages the T9 has over the Sonys.

I don't mind about it being outdated... As long as it plays music. the z5 is a bit cheaper.

I used to have a meizu m6 but I sold it because I didn't like the sound, to overblown and digital sounding.
