The original and the pro version have basically the same configurations- dual dynamic driver+dual balanced armature. The main difference is the using material of each included cable.

FH5s standard version cable:

The original cable included in the FH5s is made of monocrystalline silver-plated copper in Litz Type 2 style to faithfully reproduce your music. In addition, the cable features interchange audio plugs of 2.5/3.5/4.4mm with expanded MMCX connectors, leading to a more amazing music experience.

FH5s Pro exclusive cable, LC-RC

The LC-RC is made of high-purity monocrystalline silver-plated copper, with 8 strands of 19 wires each for a total of 152 wires. Braided together in Litz Type 2 style, each wire is individually insulated to effectively improve transmission efficiency for high frequencies as well as ensure high resolution. In terms of the housing material, the LC-RC uses

transparent environmentally friendly TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) from Germany, greatly protecting the cable from being colored after a long time using and from turning solid under low temperatures. Likewise, the LC-RC also features 2.5/3.5/4.4mm interchange audio plugs.

did not like the FH5S the BA hits right into the ears making the treble very peaky. I hope FH5S Pro does better. Otherwise, not recommended.

The sound gets a natural expansion of stage and depth. Its texture is enhanced using this cable. It is showing some enhanced copper properties more so than the silver properties of their previous cable that was included with the FH5s. Which is a good thing. I will have much more to say about this cable here in a shorter review describing the differences from their stock cable to the new Pro LC-RC cable.

The new cable is worth getting imo. It is clearly a better cable and I think it matches better with the FH5s and enhances their sound as well.

I ordered the LC-RC cable yesterday. Price so good and replaceable plugs made it irresistible. Hope it will go well with my Sony IER-Z1R.

Ya I am writing about what this cable does and it doesn't enhance treble notes as much as their prior included cables. This in turn makes the FH5s now listenable for rock and metal. It sounds way more cohesive using this cable. These are what they should have included with their FH5s. It is a substantial cable and upgrades the FH5s to a different level. It improves cohesion and even improves the mids and bass end to have greater note weight with a more expansive stage to boot. Their FH5s pro sees a clear upgrade for its tuning due to this cable. I will have much more to say on my review of the LC-RC/ FH5s Pro soon.
