How high up the amp ladder will I have to go to improve over the Rega Ear with the HD650's? I have looked at the Singlepower PPX3 or MPX3 and the Ray Samuals HR-2 or XP-7 and the AudioValve RKV in the for sale section. I would like to try out tubes but I'm not limited by them.
I'll be upgrading to the 1212m for my source soon and would like to know if upgrading my amp would be worthwhile. Thanks in advance.
