I'm thinking of selling off my Audio Technica ATH-AD500s
and geting the ATH-AD700s.
Would the AD700s be that much better then the AD500s?

I havent heard the AD500's, so I cant speak for those

however between the A500's and A700's, I wouldnt bother selling off the former in order to purchase the latter - the difference isnt worth the trouble.

If I were you, I would save up and get either AD900 or AD2000 instead.

I would even skip the ad900s. Compared to my ad700s not too much difference. Go straight for ad2000s.
