From the looks of it, the I-10 is closed from 35th Ave to 83rd Ave... however, it's entirely possible that it'll be open by Saturday. I'll also be keeping an eye on their Weekend Freeway Advisory site.

UPDATE: I decided to just bring everything.

With my SU-1 running I2S to the Audio-gd D-77 and NFB-1, I can simultaneously output from the SU-1 via coax to the Modi MB, Loki, and G1217 Solstice. All outputs on the SU-1 are live at the same time, which is a nice bonus for an event like this since it simplifies everything. Headphones will still be Grado GH1 w/G cush and L cush, HE-4xx, Aeon Flow Closed, and ZMF Ori. I am also going to bring the fan favorite (not really) Dharma D1000 (only because it sounds so damn good with the D-77/NFB-1). BTW, did Enigmacoustics go out of business? Their website and web-presence is MIA.


For my ZMF Ori, I don't have a good, short cable for it. I normally use a 15' Norne Vanquish XLR cable all my mini-xlr connector headphones. Not bringing that cable though, as it would end up being a tripping hazard.

Anyone have a good 4-6' mini-xlr to 4-pin xlr cable they want to loan/sell to me?

Would it be advisable coming in to Phoenix to take I-8 and then 85 to Avondale? Leaving in a few hours and will be coming in to Phoenix area Friday afternoon.

That doesn't sound like a bad idea... if the I-10 is still closed on that section tomorrow, it would make sense to just a avoid it as much as possible.

And one more bit of fuel to the hypefire: I just popped by our local used gear dealer, Audio Video Choices, to borrow a Benchmark HPA4 headphone amp (AVC is a Benchmark dealer). Look for it at the meet!

This meet is getting more amazing by the minute.. I would like to thank all the volunteers and sponsors for getting great equipment for all of us to enjoy and compare.. So Looking forward to this...

Also, may be bringing a few boxes of cables, etc to be picked over (free , of course) Just hoping the attendance is as great as the show because without user attendance, the show is much less.. so come one come all.. DONT MISS THIS ONE
