Did anyone else try the *cough* >unofficial< *cough* UT2k3 demo??

Man it's totally awesome.. I can't wait for the full game to get out.

AMD 1700+ XP
GeForce 3 ti200

- It runs pretty smooth and the details are totally amazing!!

One map is in a jungle with grass, bushes and pretty waterfalls all over the place. Another one is some kind of arctic research center. When you're inside the center it looks absolutely wonderful. And I'm not just talking about 2*Halo poly count. No, the metal's even got this super-convincing shiny effect!! This is the first time I've ever seen metal that looked like metal in a computer game. Oh, and when outside the center you walk around these great ice canyons and it's snowing!! The ice has got this genious semi-transparent/semi-reflective surface. Totally undescribable, I'm just 100% convinced that THIS IS ICE!!!!

Wow, i must play some more....

<sigh> Its the battle of a graphics card upgrade vs an amp upgrade.

And to think, when I built my computer with a gf2 pro at the beginning of last year, all was dandy?

Oh my oh my... this is just so great... Though I wish I had a G4 comp so I could play it smoothly in 1600*1200 . Well I don't.

Study?? Yeah I just went to english oral exam today. I got a 13!! Which I guess translates to an A+ since 11 is an A.

hmmm, I wonder if it will run on my laptop when I get it.

I have a GF2 GTS right now and it handles pretty much everything I throw at it.

But who cares about the graphics? How's the gameplay? Are the bots good? Better than the origonal?

although I agree, graphics come after gameplay, I actually want to RUN the game! I don't mean bare minimums. UT graphics wqould be fine. . .

Yeah that's true, but after you have seen what this game is capable of you DONT just want to RUN it.. Trust me.

And I haven't Even put the details to Ultra High. They are at Normal.
