Hello,

I currently run a Modi magni stack with my hd650s but have never heard them through tubes.. I like a warm bassy sound and was looking at a couple options such as the little dot and bravo v2 but would love some feedback or other recommendations. I'm thinking I do not want a hybrid since I have a perfectly good transistor amp (magni). My budget is 200 USD right now so the cheaper the better but I do not want to sacrifice sq drastically to save a buck so I am open to suggestions.

Save up a little more and get the Darkvoice DV336se at a later date considering you have the Magni to drive your headphone for now.

If you want to warm up the 650’s you should look at the Audioquest Nighthawks.

High impedance: DV336se has absolute advantage on noise floor and noise

Low impedance, high sensitivity: It depends - some IEMs and portable headphones might actually have less hiss on the DV336se

Low impedance, low sensitivity: I'd stick with the Vali for this for more power than compensate for power by rolling the dice on getting low end boost with some flabbiness or low end trim but still without definition
