I know it's a somewhat over-talked issu, but i couldn't find areal answer anywhere.
I'm loking for portable and closed earphones, the price is arround 60$.
I know of the senn px200, but I was told they weren't very comfortable, is there anything else? it's important that there will be good sound blocking, because the main use for them is on the street.
it doesn't really matter what kind of phones they are.

most people will say

eggo66, v6, senn 280

how much sound do you want to block out? if it's total sound then it's all about canalphones.

personally, i liked how much sound my ksc35's leaked becuase it kept me aware of what was going on and i felt safer (i used them primarily in philly and nyc)

cheers

px200 are quite comfortable for me. there isnt many closed, and portable overhead headphones. beside the athfc7, but they are uncomfortable to me. you're gonna have to buy some canalphone if you want isolation and portability.

The MDR-D66SLs are my favorite pair of portable headphones, but they don't do that great a job of isolation - they're designed to be more of a semi-open phone that prevents sound from leaking out but allows some outside noise to come in.

well the ksc35's are pretty portable imo

also the eggo's are pretty tiny too

in terms of canalphones, the e2's are a pretty fun pair but i hated taking them in and out all the time to talk to people when i bought stuff, etc.

how much isolation do you need? because noise cancelling and fully sealing cans are (for the most part) going to be bulkier and larger.

if the eggos are too big, then earbuds and canalphones are your only choice. I don't know much about earbuds or canalphones because my experience with them is only the e2's and 2nd gen. ipod buds
