Hi,
 
I am new at head - fi, joined just a few weeks ago.
 
Now, every time I try to change my avatar I get the error message:
{"status":"error","message":"Your account does not have the required permissions to access this page."}
 
Can anyone assist?

Howdy. I think there is a certain time requirement on your membership or post count before you get full access to the site's features. It should be in a welcome email/post.

To change avatar,
You need either
10 Posts or 5 post + 15 days member

As you can see it works now (uploaded a picture of the headphone I use).
Ironically, I Got the 5th post by asking this question :/
