um2 with treble booster sounds better than se530 ?

I actually found my SE530 to scale very well with the addition of a pico. the previously slightly rolled off highs are now no longer. Also added to the already pretty good soundstage for an IEM

That's because your ears adjust to the sound. If you use bass boost for a while and suddenly switch to treble boost it will sound very harsh. i used a song to determine which eq setting is good. cymbal crashes were very soft, so up treble. Made things sound tinny so brought in a little bass. made voices sound fuller. finally, used itunes eq setting Latin. you guys should try that.
