The thing with the S Logic is it's such a subtle difference from any other headphone.  It's like you're listening along and all the sudden something makes you pay close attention to what you just heard.  That voice coming from right between your eyebrows or the noise coming from behind you. 
 
Once you really pay close attention you will notice what the S Logic does for sound.  I personally like it a lot.  But that's me. 
 
As for the soundstage, yes the Ultrasone's have a more narrow soundstage.  But at the same time they have a subtly large soundstage.  They do a pretty good job with this.  If width of soundstage is what you're after, you should go with an open back can everytime anyway.  If you're after a large soundstage you might give the S Logic technology a try. 
 
It's honestly quite hard to describe an untrasone's S Logic properly.  You just have to listen to them to get a good idea of what it does.  And it is subtle.  Most times you don't notice a thing.
