ive heard good things about both but for a bass head, which of these would have the strongest deep bottomless bass and overall bass quality, i added Grado 325i and Beyer DT770 in the poll too, ur welcome to mention any others in the price range.. thanks!!

the Grado's definitely offer the cleanest and possibly deepest bass but not the loudness in comparison to the highest frequencies.

I own the dt770/80 ohm and hfi-780. out of those two, I'd say the hfi-780.

The Ultrasone would be my guess out the four listed in this poll.

The Beyer bass when properly amped is just delicious. And it doesn't take away from the mids.

the dt990 are the best cans out of all of those, but for JUST bass (what you asked for in your post), i'd go with the HFI-780 or DT770.
