I was just wondering what ultra-portable amps were available? The only ones I've seen so far are the Digizoid ZO2 and the iBasso T3, other like the T5 are similar in size but muc heavier, so  is there anything else worth considering in the $60-150 range?

Some specs:

Digizoid ZO2.3 - 70 x 38 x 9.6 mm, 26.6g
iBasso T3 - 64.5 x 37 x 10 mm, 28g
iBasso T5 - 81 x 41 x 10 mm, 62g
iBasso D-Zero - 79 x 55 x 11, 60g
iBasso T4 - 64.5 x 37 x 10 mm, 29g

Was also wondering where it would be cheapest to buy some of these.

No mention of the fio e5/6?

Would you actually listen to the E5?

I like the Arrow even though it's longish but it's the thinnest amp out there w/ the most drive and features in such a package.

I've tried the e5 and PA2V2, the PA2V2 was decent but a bit bulky whilst the E5 seemed to suffer from static too much

How much do you want to spend? On the low cost end there is iBasso and on the higher end Head Amp. Both are awesome in their respective brackets and of course the higher priced unit does sound better.

the better question is do you need an amp?
i think first of all you should upgrade your headphones, then your source and in the end the amp, so what headphones/source do you have?

Using my iPod Nano with the Fiio L3 and my Galaxy S3 for very casual listening, but the PFE122 really seem to need some amplification. Also got the B2s and Atrio MG7s as well, but they seem fine without
