If they did sell a shell, then what? Someone needs to take out the insides and put them in, I don't know of anyone that does that. In the past, I have seen people selling just a single side, that might be your best option.

Yeah. You are right. I liked these a lot. I just have to let the go for now I guess, though I dont have any other IEMs right now. Are there any IEMs below 150$ or as less as possible tat are as good as the TF10s?

Sound is objective of course, Vsonic GR-07 might be worth a look.

Which side is the broken nossel? I have a broken pair of studio 3 with one side working. I'm happy for you to take it as a temporary replacement but you'll have to cover for shipping.

Thank you so much for the offer. I didn't know that they are interchangeable with the TF10s. It would be wonderful if they are. The right side one is broken.
EDIT: I see that you are from Australia. I'm from Houston. Shipping must be prohibitively high. :frowning2: or maybe not.

This is a really great article about the allure (enduring) of the TF10 - there is something special about them even though they have their warts - still Rock and Roll sounds great through them....

Yep they share the exact same socket. I could send it as a postcard which is only $2.75aud. I'm not sure which side but I'll find out for you when I get home.

  Dude, you are awesome!

Fortunately it's the left piece on mine that is broken

I just remembered the socket is quite loose but if you flatten the pin or use it with a fiio rc-wt1 westone cable, it should be snug fit without expanding the socket. Send me a pm with you shipping details and we'll go from there

I never seen or heard myself anything like nozzles or shells for sale, through the many years I have known TF10. And dealing with the shell and internal assured, don't do this.

Currently I have a broken left ear piece with a terminal broken completely off, revealing the wires inside the shell. Would any reshell service today accept such damage?

are the old ue 2 pin custom replacement cable the length and diamater as the stock tf10? I want to know cos I don't want to risk expanding the sockets if the pins are wider. I don't like the stock tf10 rubbery cable, it's just horrible.

Not same, the diameter on the TF10's are a bit smaller. And coming from stock cable, you definitely going to file the pins a bit on those cables.
Other than that, they being among the greatest cable I ever had. Light, flexible and lasts for many months hard use at same time.

So where can I purchase a braided cable that will guarantee the exact size pins and is thin, light, flexible cable (with no memory wire) similar to those found on most custom iems. My budget is $60 and I don't believe cables can improve sq. I'm upgrading solely for practicality.
