Hello im pretty new to the world of earphones and head-fi and ive been searching for my first pair of high quality IEM's for around 100-200 dollars and so far the ones ive found are:

Ultimate ears HiFi 10 (http://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Ears-TripleFi-Isolating-Earphones/dp/B0019RBJOE/ref=pd_cp_e_1)

Klipsch image x5 (http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-Image-X5-Noise-Isolating-Earphones/dp/B001D7709I/ref=sr_1_56?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1306787022&sr=1-56)

Vsonic GR07 R07 (http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Vsonic-GR07-R07-Professional-/160590270433?pt=Other_MP3_Player_Accessories&hash=item2563ed0fe1#ht_3104wt_882)

Genres I listen to: Jazz, rock, alt, indie, and many others. I'd like these to be good at playing all types of music.

Things i'm looking for: clear and accurate sound quality, very durable, good build quality, and good noise isolation.

any help would be awesome thanks

Just a note to keep the regulars from either ignoring or flaming your thread.

Get the ultimate ears triple's on sale .... they can and have been offered at times at Sub $100...... fulking awesome price.

Get the Gr07 if you like a flat true / clean / non-colored sound plus they are cheap at $155

The dba'02 fischer iem are better for many than the klipsh...

Etymotic , the gr07 and the dba's are getting more respect.....

I have owned the UE TF10 and found it uncomfortable and recessed in the mids. I have also owned a couple more BA based IEM's and find I prefer dynamic based IEM's as they have more realistic timbre and decay to my ears. With that up front I currently own a pair of Earsonics SM3 and a pair of Vsonic GR07 and the GR07 are the nicest IEM I have ever owned having close to the same level detail as a BA based IEM while having the bass impact, layers, and decay of the best dynamic IEM's and is very transparent. Then on top of that it's well built and comfortable as all get out.

+1 to GR07. If you don't plan on exploring and buying half a dozen more IEMs in the next year or so, just get the GR07.

TF10's gonna leave you wanting for less coloration and more balance. And better comfort.

As for X5, not much to say except that you might as well get the X10.

However GR07 has the least isolation out of the three. Not by a lot, but do keep in mind.

The Gr07 seems to be extremely well built. The TF10 seemed pretty solid as well.

Sibilance is the ssssssss sound on vocals or on instruments like cymbals. The GR07 has a mild form of this initially (I wasn't bothered by it myself) but it goes away in the first 1-200 hours of burnin or use.
