Yes.

The JH5.  Jerry Harvey (JHAudio owner/founder) was UE chief IEM designer before he founded JH Audio.

I have never heard UE5 but Jerry claims "his" JH5 is a much improved version of the UE5.  I do not know what the differences are but I have owned the JH5 for about 2 1/2 years and it's the best audio purchase I have made in 10 years.  Cost is $399

Heck, for $650 you can get the JH7 which is a triple driver.

I think $699 for the UE5 would be a collosal waste of money.

It depends of your preferences in sound, I mean a light V-Shape, flat, etc.
I think the Heir Audio 4.A which is 699$ is significantly better than UE5.
And the 1964 Ears IMHO are a very good value for the price, because they have a launch offer of the V6 for 650$ and it should be very good, and at this price better, I already have the JH13s FP and the TF18s which are in a reshell at Unique Melody and I will definitely buy a V6 because at that price I think it worth the money over the UE5s or the JH5s.
Cheers
Gonzalo
