I have extremely limited use for these since I silenced my PC's. Put it up for sale but it was probably too nebulously worded. Never mind. Since they'll only collect dust, whoever wants one in the UK can have it. I'll even ship it to you, or you can collect in Central London.

Isolation and leakage are good as long as you don't have Prince Charles ears. As the (electronica-centric?) pbirkett will attest, these are not phones to buy for bass quantity. However they have quite a quick low-end transient attack, which makes the music seem more precise. There's an ever so slightly rolled off treble which is good for those sensitive to sibilance. good amounts of detail. All in all, excellent phones whatever a couple of people say

.

The only sign of distress is the detachable cable, where I managed to run over in a couple of places with the vaccum cleaner (the braids are not exposed). The phones themselves could pass for new. Receipt is included and there's a year and half left on the warranty. PM me and I'll send it to the guy who I think is the most deserving

Bangraman, is there a thread where you've posted details of silencing your PC's? I'd sure be interested.

Lucky person whom Bangra deems most worthy: you are indeed fortunate. But I hope you amp these cans with something that plugs into a wall - IMO they don't reach their potential with a 9V or 3xAA battery amp.

Go to quietpc.com to buy and silentpcreview.com to read. You'll find everything you need there.

They do actually work well with an XP-7. More than some wall-bound amps I've heard. Synergy will tend to depend on amps, but a PIMETA optimised for high-impedance phone will work well too. Some bass boost, if available on the amp, won't hurt.

Damn guys, some of your PM's are so full of sympathy-eliciting troughs in life that even I got depressed!!!! I'm going to feel extremely guilty for whoever doesn't get the phone...
