the TF10 are still one of the best IEM's in existence.  sure they lack somewhat in the mids, the bass can be a bit humpy and they need a power station behind them to be their best but they still are rather amazingly good.  just remember to pair them well.

I reshelled a pair and you cannot get them away from me - they are my knockarounds - they seem to work really well with the noises of the street - lol.

IF Amazon/UE decide to their blowouts at $99 ever again, it's a no brainer yes.  At current price of $300, certainly, you can get better alternatives.  Sony XBA-30 is a very solid alternative at $150-175 range (XBA-3IP/30IP is consistently cheaper vs non IP version).  You lose the detachable cable of the Triple.Fi but for a first time outing, it's quite solid.  In fact, I find myself using the XBA3ip over Triple.Fis with most of my portable sources.
