Do you ask that because you are not as impressed now as the moment you listen to them for the first time? That happens to me that's why it may happen to you too

There was a slight change for mine. I know because I compared my "old", burned-in 5 pro to my friends when he received his one. The difference can be heard. However, the biggest part will be that you get accustomed to their sound.
And I know that normally, BA do not require burn-in. But I also know that I heard a difference. My friend too.

I think this makes the most sense: Any moving parts will benefit from wear-in, but how much improvement is another thing all together.

and to complicate matters:
I think I like my worn and torn shoes better than brand new ones.

And to end on a bombshell:
And women are like clothes, once worn, doesn't feel as nice

If they have BA drivers, no they don't need burn in. However, your will start to like them more over time as you get accustomed to the sound signature they produce.

We all have to sleep sometime. Wont hurt to let em play at a slightly higher than listening level on a portable source or PC while you sleep for a week or so. At the end of the week you can be sure that, that is how they will sound for the future of them. You can listen to them as normal during the day.
