Does anyone have any experience with these?

I like the ability to blend in the room sound - to hear what's happening around me.....without removing the phones.

Are there better alternatives to do the same thing?

i asked a similar q awhile ago.

the answer i got was that the bass is sooooooo disturbingly overpowering or so absurdly lacking (depends on variation) that they are not worth the look.
