Just for your info: Denon will come up with two new devices supporting Dolby Headphone in October & November - at least over here. Coming in October will be the AVR-SD770, a home cinema receiver with digital power amps (6x 75 W) for 599 Euro. Apart from Dolby Headphone and the other usual surround formats, it also supports Dolby Virtual Speaker (which thereby moves much faster into affordable consumer electronic devices than Dolby Headphone did...) for surround sound out of only two speakers. Not so interesting, but with matching design: the dvd player DVD-SD770, which shall also be out in October for 349 Euro. Also featuring Dolby Headphone & Virtual Speaker as well as digital power amps (2x 35 W) is the new dvd-receiver-package ADV-M71 - its dvd-receiver comes in compact footprint (21 cm width) and it includes a 2.1 speaker-set. It should be out in November for 999 Euro.

Greetings from Munich!

That's great news for Dolby Labs and Dolby Headphone fans....bring em on! The more applications...the better...soon it will trickle down as a standard technology on low end models too.

Thanks for the intel!

Ironic -- Denon discontinued their better headphones, and are supporting Dolby Headphone... Doh.
