As is known in UE 5EB two drivers one low-frequency and dynamic, and the second high-frequency armature... Accordingly there is a filter which separates one frequencies from others and in an ear the sound acts on two channels... From the corresponding driver. The problem of the filter consists not so much in that to separate, and in coordinating imposing crossed ranges from low-driver and high-driver so that АЧХ was equal.
In acoustic systems this function is carried out with complex filters named by crossovers now as a rule active.
In our case the filter passive and considering restriction on the sizes most likely it simply condenser or pair condensers... I.e. the filter of the first order and accordingly to expect from it the ideal coordination it is not necessary.
Probably therefore average frequencies are slightly ruined, not all averages, but there is some failure getting just on a female vocal or on high man's. Thus of low frequencies it is had in the some even surplus... But averages on a background low seem even more ruined... I like a female vocal... Began to think in general, and here I have suddenly recollected ears, how in other ears - greater, I in due time have reduced low frequencies and have made more elastic, having closed a part of external air lines...
Here has looked closely on 5EB... And there two small holes on everyone that air acted inside and enabled a membrane, the low-frequency driver, to be shaken more freely...
By the way therefore the Noise Isolation at these ears is worse than at other completely closed.
I have closed these holes first only one hole, and then and in general...
To stick them it is desirable not simply slices of an insulating tape and so to cover holes completely... The matter is that holes are in a deepening and if to stick simply insulating tape that it almost at once slightly comes unstuck and there are not at once visible cracks on each side.
Therefore I have taken a sticky tape thickness of 1 mm, cut out four slices 1х1 mm and length 4 mm and have inserted into a deepening so that holes were completely closed, from above has stuck small slices of a black insulating tape it has turned out quite beautifully and imperceptibly.
Predictably low became more elastic and not such powerful... That is almost just right... Can still hardly even it is possible less was, but however depends already on music... On modern rock

(thickness 1.5мм, the width hardly is more than diameter of an aperture) and about a miracle! - high hardly were beat and became normal even cool! C-c-c-c-c certainly remains where it will get to (at such that of sensitivity) but became unostentatious... Sometimes even at all you do not pay to it attention...
