It's bluetooth, so the answer is, it depends if your android device supports bluetooth, which it most likely does.

I can just imagine that with completely wireless earphones.....until you lose one side.

I think the biggest difference is that the one you list is poorly rated outside the 'paid for' reviews, Fiio are a well respected manufacturer.

Poorly? I gave it 4 stars and just bought the second one, based on my own experience, and no I'm not an Amazon Vine reviewer what you call "paid" .The biggest difference is the cable. And yes I would love to have Fiio to produce a product similar to Maceton's with better DACs and amp.

How come it is designed for iphone7? what makes it works better in iphone than android?
 
Since iphone7 does not support aptx, it would work better with aptx supported android devices imo
