i know this may be tacky so some people, but i really like it when a tube glows orange. Is there a way to add an orange led to a Paradisea+ dac or Darkvoice 332 to make the tubes glow?

Fitz added some LED's to a 336i that he modded to mimic and boost the tube glow.

EDIT: No he didn't.

I use orange (amber?) 3mm LED for my SOHA. The LED fits just nice in the center of the tube socket. Its funny because I wonder if the tube socket maker intentionally made it as a space for a decorative LED.

I've seen blue and green LED lit tubes, but I chose amber because it resembles the incandescent lightbulb color most.

You need to check and make sure its possible to slot an LED under the tube. Then, see if you can tap off 12V or so from the amp's supply. Get a high brightness clear LED and appropriate resistor. 15-20mA is real bright.

No I didn't. I changed the blue power LED to an amber one similar in colour to the existing tube glow.

Keep the resistor values fairly high otherwise it is too bright and fake.
