Hey all,
I'm going to go looking for tubes tomorrow at the local flea market. Just wondering if anyone had any tips on buying and how to find great deals?

The only thing that I would recommend is to have a list in your pocket of the possible substitutions for the tubes you are interested in. Sometimes you can't find a certain tube, say 12ax7 for instance, but you walk by a table of 5751's not knowing it's a great substitute. (just an example). Also try to find out the Euro designations for the tubes.

just look for old electronics from england or germany. I managed to get about 3 telefunken EL-84's from some broken tv/reciever/speaker thingy
