Forgive me since there's a ton of info in the archives (too much). Up to $500 or so, what would you recommend in a tube headphone amp for Senn HD600? I'm a total headphone newbie here. Thanks.

For tube amps, I always thought the wa3 (wooaudio) and the darkvoice 336 paired up nice with sennheisers. I think they are both below $500 and they make a nice intro amps into tubes.

Those are both good suggestions in that price range - I have not owned either of those amps, or the HD600's in a long time, but both do pair well with the HD600.

I think Kingstyles is talking about my amps? Did own the 336se and still have the 3+. Both are very fine with the Senns. And the tubes are easy to get for both.
