Well I hope I chose the right forum for this thread (any other places I should post it?), but anyway, I am looking to use my computer to playback my music, which is where I do most of my listening anyway. I would like to eventually upgrade my speakers (Currently using Klipsch ProMedia 2.1) to maybe something like the Klipsch RSX-3 speakers with a decent sub. But would it be impractical to use a tube amp to power the speakers? and of course, as I said in the topic, I would like to use my headphones with the amp as well. So basically, just looking for a tube amp that I can use with speakers, as well as headphones..

I was looking at the new "Little Dot MK IV or III" or the "Dared mp5" which seems like they might do the trick, but I'm not sure.

If anyone can give me some input on what I am trying to accomplish here, please feel free to, thanks a bunch ahead of time

Assuming that the EMU0404+MP5 combo sounds better than the DAC that comes with the Dared MP5?

if so, how much better?
