tube advice

hi. i'll get right to the bottom of this. currently with a dynahi and a 650. was wondering how tubes would sound. looking for recommendations and advice, keeping in mind my current setup. thank you!

p.s. - some i've read on are the eddie hd25, singlepower ppx3 and mpx3. however, haven't found any reads with dynahi comparisons for thought.

If at all possible, go to a meet!
So, you can listen for yourself and take it from there. Often it is a matter of taste as much as performance.

Going to a meet is great advice from Kurt, because I've bought amps and cables and tubes that were described as sounding a certain way by others that had owned those items, only to be disapointed that they didn't sound anything like they were supposed to have sounded. So if you live in an area where there's meets, you'll probably save yourself some money and grief if you can personally audition the items you're interested in.
