They are not as soft as comply, so will not provide as good a seal. BUT they will last a VERY long time. I use them in two ways. Just insert in ear canal and twist 45 degrees - like inserting a silicon tip OR compress, insert, hold until expands. 
 
These are not the best foam tips on earth but they are inexpensive and good when sound isolation isn't critical.

I've tried a lot of tips on these ....and finally settled on the senn double flange tips (medium size).....the bass gets more tight and punchy and does not spill into mids.While also maintaining the details and clarity top-notch.

Yes these ...You can also buy them from Ebay.They come in 3 different sizes.I personally prefer the medium size for use with T1e.

I also use Senn Double flange large with T1Es. Good match imo. and comfortable.
