Ok so i have had these A500's for quite time and have been very very happy with them until a few days ago when my mom called me downstairs and i pulled them out of the amp they where hooked into and complete bent the plug. So i cut it off and bough a new 1/8" stereo connector from radioshack. Well once i got it all hooked up i get sound from both sides but its very unbalanced. Like i get sound from the right but not all the sound, like i can barely hear vocals on the right side and if i completely mute the right side using my drivers it sounds like its supposed to stereo wise but the sound is not near full. I have rewired it like 10 times.. what is goin on here? i'm putting the ground on the shortest contact, the right on the middle one and the left on the longest one. Anyone have any ideas?
