So as the title states. I'm trying to find the right pair of headphones for me. My price range is around $200 and I'm looking for a Closed-back pair of headphones because I don't want to deal with other people. I also do a crap ton of gaming (Probably so much that It's unhealthy) so I need a pair of headphones with really good soundstage and positional Accuracy. I also listen to a lot of music... I am what you would consider a Bass head. I like a lot of bass... like headphones shaking off of my head type bass. I've done a lot of research and I've looked at the DT 770's but heard that it didn't have good soundstage, Ath-m50x but heard didn't have good soundstage nor a lot of base and a bunch more but forgot the names of then (too many random numbers and names)
Any recommendations would be helpful, Thanks in advance!

Closed headphones don't have good soundstage. It is some of the very open ones that do. Closed headphones do typically provide much more bass impact than open ones. You should try to listen to some yourself, to get an idea of what you find acceptable or not.  It isn't just about the sound, but also about the fit and comfort. Closed headphones tend to make my ears uncomfortably hot after a while. Some faster than others. Where do you plan to use the headphone? Some headphones are much more suitable for home use, while others are much more suitable for portable use. What do you plan to connect the headphone to? Using isolating headphones might be dangerous in certain circumstances, such as when walking through and around traffic.

Is there a Guitar Center or other musical instrument store near you  that sells high quality headphones? Trying the headphones yourself is the best idea.

JK1these headphones will be used for my computer and I'm planning on getting the x fi titanium hd sound card cause I heard it was pretty good, the sound card can handle up to 330 ohms and The headphones will not be used portably. I know open-back headphones have better soundstage but I don't like that fact that every else can hear what I'm hearing and I live wiTh my parents so it gets a little loud at my house sometimes, and would not like to hear what they're saying. I also heard that if you use open back head phones in a noisy environment that the "full emerision effect" can be lost because you can still hear everything around you.

There is guitar center near and I went to the store the night I made the post and they didn't have any headphones that I could try... They were all packaged. I don't think there is another store that showcases high quality headphones anywhere near me but I will check.

That sucks. You should call the store and complain to the manager that they don't have demo models available. Also keep in mind the Guitar Center will match Amazon's selling price when you request a price match.

I think I'm going to just get the DT770 250 but I don't know... some people say there is too much bass that it just drowns everything else out but others say that it has a good amount of bass. some say that these headphones have a great amount of soundstage for closed-back and some say the soundstage is ****... Obviously their all opinions but I have no real way of testing out any pairs of headphones and I also don't know if I should get the pro or not, if I end up getting the DT770s
