I was wondering about soldering my headphone amp directly to my device and mounting said amp to the device.
I need to know how a headphone jack activates.
I assume I could hook everything up like normal.
But put a toggle switch on the ground plane so I could use the headphone jack normally as well.
I would want to use the internal speaker sometimes.
I would want to use the headphone jack like normal (no amp)
I would like to use the amp as desired (headphone jack open with toggle switch)
I am looking on how to trigger the jack on and off without disabling any functions.
also.
Is there anything that I need to look out for?
I planned on 24 awg solid copper core wire, and a low voltage toggle push button switch.
This will be a TRRS connection and will be using the mic though this mod.
Thank you for your time!
