Who knows what TRN is doing. Their posted FR graph now looks closer to Larry Fulton's Beta and I'm not too sure how to interpret (from TRN Facebook), "I will check the lucky price~the quantity is limited". Is "Lucky Price" an early buyer incentive, $29.99 USD vs HiFiGo (now Pre-order ?) $40.00 USDI assume the red line being the response curve of the TA1? Seems a bit different from Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews' measurement.

As far as I know the "early-bird" price for the TA1 on taobao is about 25 USD and the usual price should be about 30 USD so I assume $29.99 should be the actual retail price.Who knows what TRN is doing. I am not a graph guy, but the official FR curve looks kind of hilarious to me....but since it's cheap and I am liking the metal shell I am going to get one.

That official almost-flat FR curve looks almost like a random drawing to me I really gotta try it out with my ears.
How does it sound?Yes

I prefer the TA1, more balanced, more safe for ears and slightly more naturaloh ok, so do you like the TA1 or the Lark better?

Lark is a up shape signature ( not sure of words used but I think you understand )
TA1 is one of less aggressive cheap dual driver with good sound
Fun fact
Same type of curve
The new Chinese tendency? ( Zsn pro x, tingker tk160, trn stm, kbear lark )

I have just received my TA1, so far so good I think. Just WAAAAYYYY too much metal and WAAAAYYY too heavy, lol but that might have contributed to the rather dense sound.
Yes, I just acquired an IEM measurement rig and found that all of my KZ/CCA IEMs and also the new TA1 are tuned the same way, lol.

Something like this: (note: L and R don't match too well with each other)Does it have a flat low end like the graphs posted earlier?
Nonetheless, the TA1 is GOOD.
