The BA15 is 79.9 after discount. Is it worth a shot? I just did the math this price is about the price of getting the 30 BAs on Taobao.
Very very great, take TRN T tips and they are awesome for classical

I have the TA3 it's a brilliant and balanced ta2 very good finishing
A controlled bass, great clear vocal, large scene, sensation of aeration
10khz peak is present fatiguing but not harsh

Looks pretty warm, but planar bass doesn't usually seem as prone to bleed. Interesting to see how that energy before the resonant peak sounds in real life. Looks a little like MT3 which I didn't like.
5k and rising tuning for old school V vibes (* ̄∇ ̄)ノ

Idk why they insist on that

For those who know the Kirin sound... It seems similar... Very scintillating
I will see tomorrow but too much for at first impression

Still warm but planar and BA mid bass have great control as you said, they arent bleed to mid area at all, snappy fast mid bass without bloom, smear like most DD bass implementation. So little bit warm tuning for planar/BA mid bass is acceptable for me, but gain the sub bass, they dont have air moving feeling like DD bass sub bass.

So

I finish my french review of ta3 it's a good balanced to neutral iem, with extreme high frequency peak
Very polyvalent, natural, good detail retrieval, great scene
Better technically and better clarity than tin Gigi t3 plus

But technically I prefer the more engaging ST5, more funny more wow effect ( but not for jazz, dub )

I begin to work on rosefinch. For those who like TRN KIRIN you'll like. More brilliant, bass is more balanced.
I can't use with default tips, the great planar extension make the brilliance peak habit very uncomfortable for me very fatiguing. I must to use foam tips to tame this peak. It's less efficient than Kirin but help a lot
Build is great, cable very great !

Got my Rosefinches in and yeah, they're killer. There's nothing in the $20-70 range I'd recommend more. The value is absolute absurd and while they lack a little polish, they have personality and planar texture that I was hoping, with a lovely spacious soundstage and a relatively bright, energetic vibe with very well controlled, neutral bass.

The cable is lovely, it's like a lighter weight version of the dioko, but with an interchangeable plug. only the 3.5mm comes, but a 4.4 is $10, and you can also get a USB-C and lightning dac attachment. Included T tips are obviously a value adder too.

The treble can be a little hot at times, but I like bright sound and it's not sibilant. high instruments like upper piano keys, trumpets, and cymbals have pop and shimmer, and the mids are nice and forward and in-line with the bass and it has all that planar texture and speed. Pianos in particular sound incredible.

And they round that all out with a nice, spacious soundstage and decent imaging. Detail is pretty good, and they don't struggle with busy music.

They also really like tubes.

Upon review, The TRN Rosefinch with the 4.4mm plug are very good. Better than the SE 3.5mm plug. It doesn't do well with lower volume levels I use in the cubicle. When the volume is up a little, it has a decent, if warm soundstage. I can tell where the instruments are if the master recording is good.

I have been revisiting the TA-2. Via my Hidizs AP80 Pro X with the 2.5mm balanced cable from the ST5, I was surprised at the quality sound I was getting. Well balanced across the frequency range with excellent detail, layering and a lovely soundstage. This piece sounds wonderful, superb sub bass on the drum with lots of weight.

Hi TRN Fans, How true do you think this image is....? If its correct then the TRN stock cable that comes with EMA is incorrect. I checked with multimeter. Here is the thread which i found the photo, and its all in chinese. I have no idea how the OP of this thread determined the polarity of EMA drivers.
