Has anyone tried these line conditioners in an audio setting? I am considerind getting one as my mains power is horrible where i am. I cant spend a large lumpsome of money on it and these two are in the right ball park, price wise. I can stretch to $500 if needs be but that is the maximum I am will or prepared to spend on any sought of power conditioning.

I have two other options, an isolation transformer, also from Tripp Lite ( The IS 1000) and a true unline UPS I saw while searching last night from a company called Falcon which conerts the incoming AC to DC and then back to AC.

So here are my options from my research:

1) Tripp Lite LC 1200 and LC 1800 line conditioners($176 & $220)
2) Tripp Lite IS 1000 isolation Transformer ($206)
3) Falcon True on line UPS ($450)

Any other options and suggestions are very much welcome.

In case it helps, My system is as follows:
Adcom GFA 5400 power amp
Hafler DH-100 pre amp
M-Audio SuperDAC 2496 DAC
Sony CDP CE575 CD Changer
B&W DM601 speakers

Thanks for your help!!!

The blackout killed my Tripplite UPSes battery or something as it just drained. So I've been ponder if I should get that line conditioner because then I wouldn't have to changed batteries. They start adding up and are nearly as much as the line conditioner itself in price.

Spec wise they state the noise rejection is better than on their own UPSes, isolation transofmers, and surge protectors. Reading on audioasylum, the line conditioner wasn't that good compared to other products. Some complained it also hampered their amps. Search on there.
