I mean, sure, everything is about how you use equipment. But even if the OP goes running with the Mele (I have TWS so I don't), drink (I drink hot tea and had no problems), use 4-6 hours a day (I've done this too, no problems), you cannot guarantee that the Mele will have imbalance. The only way you can convince others of this is to buy 20-50 Mele, split into control vs trial batches, and run through your exact usage, and get imbalance in >50% of the units. So, the facts that are relevant for the OP are: 1. Some people (don't know exact % but definitely a minority) have reported channel imbalance, 2. You can easily buy replacement filters if you ever run into this problem. So, going back to the OP's question of is the Mele worth it? I would still say yes, even though a small subset of people had channel imbalance issues."
