Hello,everyone,I am a Chinese boy.

I want to get a new In-earphone.

I like Metal(Loudness,Dream theater,Trivium....)Pop and Classical. I'm using ER4P and K601 now,and my Players are Kenwood HD20GA7,SONY NH1/EH1/R50,aiwa F80 and SHARP DR80(I am a MD fan).

Which suits me or Which is better,Thanks everyone!

I don't like Westone3,becouse I have sold UM2 in April for Westone3,and I have no Patience now.

My English is so bad!Soooooooooooooooooooooorry!!!!!!

from your previous rig, se530 should get you better impressions since many etys don't like triple.fi's sound.

Well, I'm posting here, so the OP can see in my signature all the links he needs.

E500's cable is not good here,it is easy to splits.E2/4/500,their quality is all low,I don't know whether the SHURE's quality of Cable is so bad in US.-_-|||

I'd take the ER4P with the Kenwood. Mind that, if you want the E500, you'll have to use the provided volume attenuator in quite environments, since they pick hiss. No worries when you are outside (you won't perceive the hiss).

At the Head Fest meet, I really preferred the triple.fi over the E530. That really surprised me, since I loathe the super fi. 5 Pro. But the triple.fi did seem better to me because the E530 sounded like it was veiled.

I do love Etys, btw.

I agree that the E530's often sound veiled. Even Super Fi's are more revealing/crisper.

I don't think any are better than any and after all these are very high end IEMs. It's almost depend on your music taste and preference but both are excelent IEMs. To me TF10Pro shows more details in upper mids, highs and upper highs than SE530 with bigger airy soundstage and AMPs don't help much to improve the sound on TF10Pro. Shure SE530 shows rich details in mids with deep, detailed, tight bass and guitar music realy shine on SE530. Highs are big time missing on SE530 if you use TF10Pro once(if use both unapmed with ipod). Now on the end to me TF10Pro are excelent IEMs if you use unamped and likes highs more with good amount of bass. Also Shure SE530 improve with AMPs help and it has forward mids with deep tight bass.

Haven't heard the triple.fis, but can echo the fact that the E530/500s are veiled. I wanted it to replace my Etys, but now I'm thinking I can't take the HD650, veiled sound... Great bass and mids, but the highs are severally attenuated.

These graphs below = BORING for me. I know others like the dark sound, so depends on what you like.
