Hi everyone I'm new here, i love listening to music on my Triple Fi and i even got the ridiculously expensive Beat Audio iPhone Specialist cable before it got discontinued, but for some reason the mic never gets good sound and i can't use siri except in a very quiet environment, i was looking at the Shure music cable with 3 button remote, does anyone know if i can file down the pins to make them fit my triple fi or if anyone has a custom iPhone cable to sell i would like to know as well, Thanks!

Shure cable uses mini coax connector while UE uses two pins, so you can't just file any of them down to fit the other.

ah thats disappointing, but thanks so much for the info! do you know anyone who is skilled in making diy cables who can splice in a remote ? i would love to make my own cable by taking a cable from another earphone, chopping off the ends and attaching triple fi pins but I'm not sure how, i couldn't find a guide on how to make one.

well you need to buy the Tf10 connector pins then solder them on the ends of the cable either cutcthe existing shire mmcx connectors off or details solder them if possible its pretty straight forward just Google ue connector pins should come up wittheme

seems like in the other thread, some guys have been saying that Toxic cables are coming out with a 3button mic cable too. not launched yet thou.

I have the Facebook group of the Hongkong guy who did that cable, if you are really interested, you could check if he could send one to you(wherever you are)

thanks i found him, but has yet to respond i recently just made my own, check it out =D

You can easily change the TF10 UE female plug into the MMCX plug.  I actually am doing the same thing right now.  Just remove it, solder it. Good as done!:D
