Wish there was a battery indicator and quicker charging, the lack of the former in combination with the extreme slowness of the latter makes the Tri TK-2 usefulness as a portable device rather questionable. Saved a bit too much on features there, which is a pity considering the build and sound quality.

Today is the TK2 turn with Aroma Duet, it has enough power to drive dual DD 98db/25ohm much better than my daps.
It’s incredible how TK2 sounds far better through RS6 instead of iPhone 12 Pro Max, I think a smartphone isn’t the right way to drive TRI TK2!

Just drop it here, been fans of KAEI since i bought their DAC 1 Pro and trying their HP-100 (tuning a, b, and c), also their KAEI DAP mk 2

now trying the collaboration between Tri x KAEI, TK-2

Question #1. Does this have OverCharged Protection? Can I keep the charging cable plugged in while using it as Desktop DAC/AMP, in doing so will this degrade the Battery?

Question #2. Will this Work WITHOUT Battery? IF the Battery dies, can this function off of the USB Power connection?
