KZ style marketing??? :joy:
I think he means that KZ uses a total driver count between both units to name their products rather than driver count of single IEM (1 side).

Exactly. It isn't that KZ is necessarily lying with their marketing. In the set, you get the total number of claimed drivers, but it is a bit disingenuous when most companies make their driver counts on a per-ear basis.

What strikes me most is that the KBEAR and TRI design language has moved up a notch.

The KBEAR [name] flagship is a nice advance on the Lark but maintains the theme.

The Aurora design appears to flow from one part to the next seamlessly.

The I3 seems to have maintained a great design but smaller.

The customized TRI Starlights look very nice BUT what about that case? If that is not solely for the owner of the customised set and would be the standard package, that shows an intention to deliver a complete high-end Audiophiles' package and a half! A different class!

Despite KZ not having representatives posting pretty pictures, their quality control is actually so much better and their price/performance ratios are the best.

So different business models - just producing the best at the lowest cost or investing in some form of advertisement, "unbiased" reviewers, etc.

My personal choice is with the former, not paying for promotions out of my pocket :)

I wouldn't mind getting a CIEM (custom-fit) Starlight, if we have an option for that.

Have you been to my country, China? What about Beijing city?
I was in Beijing in 1999. I think things have changed significantly since then!
