I have a question, if you do not mind answering. I have a Starsea on order. What switch positions do you recommend on the Starsea for classical?

I use the "balanced" setting. It works very well for classical music and also ambient/electronic.

Spent some time with the TRI I-3 and the FiiO BTR5. They do indeed go really well together. The BTR5 makes the I-3 sound as good as my Shanling M6. Which is high praise.

I have the EJ07 and the Starlight and I can tell you they are tuned differently. I believe they do share the same driver configuration as the ST7 but don't assume they sound the same. I was kind of put off initially by the amount of treble detail of the Starlight but with some break-in and some slight EQ adjustments it has proven to be damn good. The EJ07 is also a great set that I enjoyed from the beginning (although I bought it second hand).
