TRI earphone impressions - I4 and I3, Starlight, NEW Starsea

Would the I3 be a clear upgrade to the Diamond?

I still really enjoy my Diamonds a lot, heard the I3 has also nice subbass so it caught my attention.

They are qutie different like oranges to apples due to the different transducer types - single DD vs tribid with planar.

The TRI I3 is much harder to drive due to the planars inside, and sounds meh from a low powered source. So if you don't have a powerful source on hand, best to consider something else. TRI I3 is less V shaped (more of a U shape), and TRI I3 has thicker and lusher mids when amped. I think the Diamond is still bassier than the TRI I3 by a tinge, but TRI I3 beats the Diamond in soundstage when amped. Timbre is perhaps better on the Diamond. For imaging, instrument separation and details I think the TRI I3 wins here.

I am picky about cable weight and feel around my ears. Is this cable heavier and/or thicker around the ears than this cable sold on Amazon?
I have the DarkJade (which should be the equivalent to the KB Ear Wide) and it takes some time, to get acclimated to; as it's stiff and on the heavier side

Search the Mid priced IEM cables thread for "Dark", for more information and feedback: link

Going left to right, the weight increases

On my Kbear Believe, regularly, I have the right side whose volume drops, after one to two hours of listening.
The next day everything goes back to normal.
Am I the only one?

Sounds like moisture accumulating on the nozzle filter. Using foam tips should help.

I have not checked out the diameter. Click on the link and check the specifications, you may find the diameter there.
I don't see any specs..

You are correct, there is no information under the Specifications tab and the Item description tab. Pity.

I would suggest you write to KBEAR on AliExpress and ask for the diameter of the Believe filter. Unfortunately, you may have to wait a while due to their holidays...Chinese New year.

Diameter is known?

Since this is a direct replacement, the diameter would be the same diameter as the stock one installed on the Believe.

Whizzer Kylin He-03 filter is 4.8 or 4.9mm.
