So, I have two trekstor vibez now.
The problem I am having is when i connect the vibez to the computer to charge (usb), my vibez displays "Charged" instead of "Charging"...The problem is, its not charged, it should be "charging"...Once i unplug from the usb, it says "Critical Battery" battery low, please charge....I can't charge the thing! I have contacted Trekstor and have not heard back yet. I have installed firmware and tried on a pc and mac. I have also reset it. NOTHING.
Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?
thanks.

Do you have an AC to USB charger handy? It may just not be getting enough juice from the PC USB port.

No, I don't have an ac charger....
but the thing is, I can put a fully charged battery into the vibez and then after a minute or so it says that the battery isnt charged and shuts down.
(i have charged the batteries completely on the other vibez)
So the battery is fully charged, and when you turn the vibez on it has a full charge icon, but slowly it goes to nothing and shuts down.
(I had posted this vibez for sale on head-fi, before opening, so thank god I decided to keep it or someone else would have had this problem).....
I posted a video on youtube describing the problem with video of the problem in action.
I still have not heard anything back from trekstor...
The sound quality is great, really great in fact, but both vibez have had problems so if nothing else, maybe future buyers can beware....

YouTube - Do Not Buy From Amazon.com AMAZON trekstor vibez

nice vibez site nyc-
i can't find any warranty info at the trekstor site, now where i can find info?

So it's a known good battery with full charge, but the vibez thinks it's drained?

I second Mr.K's advice, post this on Riovolution.org. Someone over there had something similar and it resolved itself after a few cycles. Best to check over there and post your issue to see if they are the same.

Also, have you tried calling Trekstor if you're not getting any traction by email?

im gonna post over at riovolution...
i didnt get around to calling trekstor usa until about an hour again and it went to
a recording-saying they will call me back.
so we'll see...
thanks for the advice so far....
and yes, it does not recognize a full battery. also when i plug it into the computer it will recognize that i am giving it usb power, but after a couple of minutes, it tells me to connect to power (although i am already connected)...
i also just realized that on the harddrive (next to the marks-shown in video) there is a sticker missing, that can be seen on the harddrive that works....
i think i was given something that was a lemon from the get-go...

By the looks of your video, sure looks like you got hosed. Hopefully someone will have a way to fix it.

Good luck, bro.
